Ai Chi Training
Hosting Ai Chi training requires a warm pool that is 32 - 35ºC / 89 - 95ºF. Water should be chest-deep. Each participant will require adequate space to move outstretched arms in a full circle around the body.

What is Ai Chi?
Ai Chi is like Tai Chi adapted specifically for use in the water. Ai Chi is a sequence of 19 movements that develop balance, breathing harmony and inner peace. Ai Chi can be taught as a unique warm-water exercise program, sequencing all 19 movements, breathing and the holistic mind-body Ai Chi philosophy. Ai Chi movements can also be incorporated into any aquatic movement program as part of warm up, stretch, balance and core training. It is excellent for use in post-rehabilitation, balance / gait training, and arthritis related aquatic training. Group Aqua Fitness Instructors, Aquatic Personal Trainers, and Aquatic Rehab Specialists will all find Ai Chi useful and beneficial to their clients and programs. |
