One of the greatest privileges in life is to teach and mentor others. 

AQX Trainers are gifted, generous people who have honed their skills in order to help others. If you are AQX trained and certified (or acceptable equivalent), you may wish to step forward to train AQX courses and workshops. 

​What's in it for you? Opportunities to grow your skills and help others do the same. You may train exclusively for your AQX facility, or be invited to train, mentor, or assess with other AQX Subscribers.

    Can I become an AQX Trainer?
    AQX Training for Trainers (T4T) is available to AQX certified, experienced aqua fitness leaders with high standards and skills. AQX Training for Trainers prepares you to mentor and assess new leaders, and train AQX courses and workshops.

Here's what you need to succeed:
  • ​Lots of aqua fitness leadership experience.
  • Currently teaching aqua fitness classes at a high standard.
  • AQX certified.
  • Thorough knowledge of the AQX manual, skills and concepts, including the online leadership course.
  • Completed the AQX on-line Training for Trainers course.
  • Clear communication skills.
  • A strong desire and ability to coach, mentor, and educate AQX trainees.
  • Commitment to invest the time required to cultivate excellence in yourself and others!
The Pathway:
  • Contact AQX to discuss your background & interest.
  • Attend a complete AQX course (if you have not already done so).
  • Complete the AQX online leadership training and certification course.
  • Complete the on-line AQX Training for Trainers course. You will arrange payment for this course after contacting AQX to start Trainer preparation.
  • Apprentice-train one or more (if needed to establish confidence) AQX courses with an AQX Master Trainer.
  • Submit by video or have an in-person annual practical teaching evaluation by an AQX Master Trainer.
  • Participate in AQX Trainer CECs as requested.
